I am nearly through reading Brennan Manning’s book “Abba’s Child” (Kind aan Huis). It’s a wonderful book that gives me much to think about. If I had more time I would write a complete book review, but now I want to post one quote I read yesterday evening:
(I have read this in Dutch and tried to translate this to English, but it might differ from the original English text) “According to Viktor Frankl a person finds his identity only to the extent that “he commits himself to something that is outside of himself, to a goal that is greater than himself.”* The meaning of our life results from our dedication to an adventure wherein we discover how we are going to become what we not are yet.”
In my journey I am also trying to find out who I am, especially in the light of what God says that I am. This quote really helps me.
